Home Care Lancaster - Comprehensive Care Services

Home Care Lancaster

Lancaster deserves care that matches its character - thoughtful, reliable, and deeply personal. That's exactly what MoralCare delivers across the city and surrounding areas. We're not a franchise operation. We're a locally-run, independent care company founded on the principle that quality care should never be compromised for profit. Every decision we make - from staffing to service delivery - is guided by one simple question: "Is this right for our clients?"

"I don't know how we would have coped without them."

M F, Daughter of Client (February 2025)

"Not only was my mum well cared for, but we also received so much support and reassurance as a family. You hear so many horror stories, MoralCare has completely restored my faith. Everything last one of them were nothing short of exceptional. They were brilliant from the start."

Tracy Z, Friend of Client (February 2025)

"MoralCare has been excellent in providing my friend with the care she needs. They were brilliant from the start providing help and advice when my friend was in hospital and we realised she needed support to return home. The staff are professional, polite and caring. My friend said she never thought she would be so well looked after. The office is always on hand to offer helpful advice. A very excellent find. The best care agency in this area."

K L, Client (January 2025)

"Moral Care is by far the best care agency in this area. All the staff are kind, understanding and efficient. I trusted them completely with her well-being."

Viv D, Daughter of Client (April 2024)

"Following quite dreadful experiences with two other care companies, we were at a low ebb when the manager and her team came to our rescue. Everyone in their team delivered an extremely efficient, professional, dignified, jovial and respectful level of service and care. MoralCare is run on sound ethics where staff and client welfare are of paramount importance."

No Missed Visits

Every visit is covered. We maintain a dedicated internal bank team and backup protocols to ensure continuity of care. Your mum won't be let down.

Continuity of Care

Each client is assigned 3-4 main carers who become familiar with their needs, preferences, and personality. Consistency builds trust.

Comprehensive Training

100% of our care workers hold Level 2 Health and Social Care qualifications. All staff complete specialised training in dementia care, end-of-life care, medication management, and more. We invest £500 per employee annually in ongoing development.

Local Partnerships

We work closely with NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board, Lancashire County Council, Royal Lancaster Infirmary, local GP practices, and community health teams. This means seamless coordination of your care.

Family-Centred Approach

We involve families in every care plan. You're not just a client - you're part of the decision-making process. We listen, we communicate, and we adapt as needs change.

Frequently Asked Questions

How quickly can MoralCare start supporting me?

We respond to new enquiries within one hour. Once we've completed a comprehensive assessment, we typically begin care within one week. For urgent situations (hospital discharge, crisis support), we work faster.

What if I need care outside standard hours?

We operate 6 care runs daily, 7am to 9pm, covering evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. For after-hours emergencies, calls to our office are forwarded to our out-of-hours supervisor.

How do I know the same carers will visit?

Each client is assigned 3-4 main carers. We prioritise consistency because we know it matters. Your carers will learn your preferences, your routine, and what matters to you.

What happens if a carer is ill?

We have an internal bank team trained to cover absences. No missed visits. Ever.

Can you help with specific medical needs?

Yes. We support PEG feeding, catheter care, medication management, continence care, and complex health needs. Our staff are trained and experienced in specialist care.

How do you ensure quality?

We conduct spot checks every two months, supervisions with every team member, bi-annual quality surveys, and annual management visits. We also run CQC mock inspections yearly. Client satisfaction is tracked continuously.

What's your approach to dignity and respect?

It's non-negotiable. Every carer is trained in person-centred care, dignity, and privacy. We treat clients as individuals with preferences, not tasks to complete.
