PEG Tube Services

If your parent has a PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) tube, they need carers who are properly trained and confident in managing enteral feeding. All of our carers receive PEG tube training, so you can be confident your parent is in safe hands. We provide this specialist care at home, avoiding unnecessary hospital visits and helping your parent maintain their normal routine as much as possible.

Our carers are trained to safely administer feeds via PEG tube, maintain tube site hygiene and monitor for complications, flush tubes correctly before and after feeds, manage medication administration via PEG, recognise signs of infection or displacement, and liaise with dietitians and clinical teams. We follow strict clinical protocols and work closely with your parent's healthcare team to ensure safe, effective care.
