Personal Care
Dignity is not optional.
It is the whole point.
Personal care is the most intimate form of support we provide. We treat it with the seriousness it deserves - minimum 50 minutes of actual care time, consistent carers, and an approach built entirely around the individual.
Why we refuse to do 15-minute visits
Many care providers offer 15-minute personal care visits. We do not. We believe it is simply not possible to help someone bathe, dress and feel genuinely cared for in 15 minutes - and we are not willing to pretend otherwise.
All personal care visits at MoralCare are a minimum of 50 minutes. That is 50 minutes of actual care time with your loved one - it does not include any travel time. Most other companies advertise "1 hour" or "30 minute" visits, but that includes the carer's travel time. So you might think you are getting an hour of care, but in reality your loved one only receives 40-45 minutes. We are transparent about the time actually spent with your loved one.
We know this costs more than a rushed 15-minute visit. We think it is worth it. So do our clients' families.
