Specialist Clinical Care
Complex needs.
Confident care.
Most local domiciliary care providers cannot offer PEG tube feeding, catheter care or specialist Parkinson's support. MoralCare can. We are one of the few providers in the Morecambe area with carers certified to deliver these complex clinical packages.
Why clinical certification matters
Clinical care delivered by uncertified carers puts clients at serious risk. PEG tube complications, catheter infections and medication errors caused by poor technique can result in hospital admissions - or worse.
Our clinical carers hold specialist certifications for every procedure they perform. They are supervised by our management team and work under clinical protocols aligned with NHS guidelines.
We are registered with the NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board, which means our clinical standards are independently verified.
Our specialist clinical services
PEG Tube Feeding
Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) tube feeding requires specialist training and strict clinical protocols. Our certified carers deliver PEG feeds safely, monitor for complications and liaise directly with the clinical nutrition team.
Suitable for: Suitable for clients who cannot swallow safely due to stroke, neurological conditions or other medical needs.
Catheter Care
Catheter management including emptying and changing catheter bags, monitoring for signs of infection, and maintaining hygiene standards that prevent complications. All catheter care is delivered in line with NHS clinical guidelines.
Suitable for: Suitable for clients with urinary catheters following surgery, illness or chronic urinary conditions.
Parkinson's Disease Support
Parkinson's requires precise medication timing, specialist moving and handling techniques, and carers who understand how symptoms fluctuate throughout the day. Our Parkinson's-trained carers adapt every visit to the client's current condition.
Suitable for: Suitable for clients at any stage of Parkinson's disease, including those with complex or advanced needs.
Reablement & Stroke Recovery
Reablement care focuses on rebuilding independence after illness, injury or hospital discharge. We work alongside physiotherapists and occupational therapists to support recovery goals and prevent hospital readmission.
Suitable for: Suitable for clients recovering from stroke, surgery, falls or acute illness.
Hospital Discharge Packages
We can begin care within 24-48 hours of a hospital discharge request. Our rapid response packages ensure clients return home safely, with the right level of support in place from day one.
Suitable for: Suitable for any client being discharged from hospital who needs immediate home care support.
