Palliative & End of Life Care
When the time comes, your loved one deserves to be comfortable, dignified and surrounded by people who genuinely care. At home, where they belong.
Compassionate care in the hardest of times
There's no easy way to face end of life. But knowing your parent is comfortable, pain-free and cared for by people who truly care can make an unbearable situation a little more bearable.
Our specially trained carers provide gentle, dignified end-of-life care in the comfort of your parent's own home - surrounded by familiar things, familiar faces and the people they love.
What our palliative care includes
We work closely with district nurses, GPs and palliative care teams to provide personal care delivered with the utmost gentleness, pain management support and medication administration, comfort measures including repositioning and skin care, emotional support and companionship, practical help for the family during a difficult time, and overnight or extended visits when needed.
Every aspect of care is guided by your parent's wishes and their clinical team's recommendations.
Training and expertise
End-of-life care requires a special kind of person and specialist training. Our carers receive dedicated palliative care training and work under close supervision.
They understand the physical and emotional needs of someone approaching end of life, and they know how to support families through grief and uncertainty with compassion and professionalism.
Supporting your whole family
This isn't just about your parent - it's about your entire family. We're here to answer questions, provide reassurance and take on the practical burden so you can focus on being present.
We provide palliative and end-of-life care across Morecambe, Bare, Torrisholme, Heysham, Bolton le Sands, Carnforth and surrounding areas. Please call us to discuss your family's needs.
