Parkinson's Disease Care
Specialist Parkinson's care from carers who understand the condition. Medication timing, mobility support and daily care tailored to your parent's needs.
Care from people who understand Parkinson's
Parkinson's disease affects everyone differently, and needs can change from day to day - even hour to hour. Our carers receive specialist Parkinson's training so they understand the condition, its symptoms and how to provide the right support at the right time.
Whether your parent is in the early stages or living with more advanced symptoms, we adapt our care to meet them where they are.
Why medication timing matters
For someone with Parkinson's, taking medication at exactly the right time can be the difference between a good day and a bad one. Our carers understand this and treat medication timing as a priority, not an afterthought.
We manage the full medication process - ordering, MAR charts, administration and GP liaison - with intelligent alerts that flag any issues immediately.
Daily support tailored to Parkinson's
Our Parkinson's care includes personal care adapted to fluctuating mobility, assistance with dressing when fine motor skills are affected, meal preparation (managing swallowing difficulties where needed), mobility support and fall prevention, companionship and emotional support, and exercise encouragement to maintain strength and flexibility.
We work closely with your parent's neurologist, Parkinson's nurse and GP to ensure our care aligns with their clinical plan.
Consistent carers who know your parent
Parkinson's symptoms can be unpredictable. Having carers who know your parent well means they can spot changes quickly and respond appropriately.
Every client is assigned 3-4 dedicated carers. We provide Parkinson's care across Morecambe, Bare, Torrisholme, Heysham, Bolton le Sands, Carnforth and surrounding areas.
